COLIN Jarvie admitted a £100,000 fraud which included pawning his wife’s engagement ring for £2000 before claiming it was lost and receiving £8000 from insurers.

A SCOTS conman was jailed yesterday after admitting a £100,000 fraud sting – including duping his own wife. Colin Jarvie pled guilty to a catalogue of charges, including paying for his own honeymoon with a dodgy credit card. He also admitted ducking out of the honeymoon when the payment was refused, claiming he had to go to hospital. The mechanical engineer stole £1000 a month from bride Letizia Salaris, claiming it was being put towards the mortgage.
